Freestyle wrestling is one of the two Olympic styles of wrestling and is known for its fast pace, explosive takedowns,
dynamic throws, and emphasis on exposing an opponent’s back for points. At Southwest Wrestling Academy,
we offer year-round wrestling classes for boys and girls (K–12) in Chandler, AZ. Our freestyle season
runs March through May and is offered for advanced classes only.
Led by D1 All-American Curtis Owen, our freestyle program focuses on athleticism, mat awareness, and
high-level technique that improves performance in both folkstyle and freestyle.
