Beginners Wrestling Classes
$90 per 6-week session Nov 17 - Jan 15 is a 9-week session due to Holidays, same price- Join anytime! Contact Coach if session has already started
- Monday and Thursday practices 5:15-6:15 p.m.
- Included: (Monthly Tournaments will resume 3/2026) Monthly K–8th "Rookie" Folkstyle Tournament
- Focuses on athletic development, basic wrestling skills, situational wrestling, and games.
- K–5th grade
- No long-term commitments, pay by session or drop-in.
- Please contact Coach Owen with any questions regarding appropriate classes for your wrestler. No Southwest Wrestling Academy hosted tournaments December - February
Intermediate Classes
$120 per 6-week session Nov 17 - Jan 15 is a 9-week session due to Holidays, same price- Join anytime! Contact Coach if session has already started
- Monday and Thursday practices including the tumbling of Advanced class 5:15-6:30 p.m.
- Included: Tuesday Advanced class 6:15-8:00 p.m.
- Included: (Tournaments will resume 3/2026) Monthly K–8th "Rookie" Folkstyle Tournament
- Middle school, experienced younger wrestlers
- No long-term commitments, pay by session or drop-in.
- Typically have kids from about 45lbs. to 120lbs. in this class
- Please contact Coach Owen with any questions regarding appropriate classes for your wrestler. No Southwest Wrestling Academy hosted tournaments December - February
Advanced Classes
$150 per 6-week session Nov 17 - Jan 15 is a 9-week session due to Holidays/no Wednesdays, same price- Join anytime! Contact Coach if session has already started
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday practices 6:15-8:00 p.m.(Wed. practices resume next session 1/21/26)
- Included: Friday Night Scraps (No Scraps until 3/2026)
- Competitive, experienced athletes
- 5th - 12th Grade
- Typically have wrestlers 70lbs. and higher in this class
- Beginner 8th grade and higher wrestlers are welcome in this class
- No long-term commitments, pay by session or drop-in.

Trial Classes:
One week trial $15, please text (preferred), call, or email Coach Owen.
Friday Night Wrestling Scraps
Every Friday through Oct. 24, 2025, 6–7:30 p.m. Will resume March 2026. See Events page for scraps details.
Monthly K–8th Grade Wrestling Tournaments
Last tournament is Nov 18. No tournaments December-February. See Events page for tournament details.
Drop-ins:
$15 per practice. Must be paid on the registration site.

Join anytime, contact Coach Owen if session is underway or with any questions:

- Find the course options. (You do NOT have to be a student of Chandler Unified School District)
- Click whichever course your athlete will be joining (Advanced, Intermediate, Beginner, Drop-in, Friday Night Scraps, or Rookie Tournaments) and then "Enroll Now." If we are in the middle of a session, the Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced may not be there, contact Coach Owen to register.
Note for ESA (Empowerment Scholarship Award): While we are not an official ESA vendor, billing is handled through Community Education and the Chandler School District. Based on feedback from our ESA/homeschool families, the reimbursement process is typically quick and straightforward — with no attestation form required.
