Southwest Wrestling Academy's very popular All-American Summer Wrestling Camp is back! Get signed up to reserve your spot, we do expect to hit our capacity this year!
We are excited to welcome another outstanding lineup of clinicians, including an Olympic Bronze Medalist and former Arizona State University D1 All-Americans for our 2026 Summer Wrestling Camp! Don’t miss this youth & high school wrestling camp! We offer both a youth beginner camp and an advanced youth and high school camp. Southwest's Summer Wrestling Camps serve elementary through high school wrestlers. Many wrestlers attend from around the local area, Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Tempe, Phoenix, Ahwatukee, Queen Creek, Scottsdale, Glendale, Tucson, and from all over Arizona. Also had a group from Hawaii for our 2025 Summer Camp. Contact Coach if unsure of the appropriate Summer Camp level.

2026 Summer Wrestling Camp Information – Beginner (K-5)
Our Beginner Summer Wrestling Camp is designed for athletes in Kindergarten through 5th grade who are new to wrestling or still developing their foundational skills. This camp focuses on building confidence, coordination, and a love for the sport in a fun, safe, and structured environment. We will play lots of games so the kids are having lots of FUN.
Wrestlers will learn basic stance and motion, fundamental takedowns, escapes, pins, and mat awareness through age-appropriate drills and games. Emphasis is placed on FUN, proper technique, sportsmanship, and effort, with plenty of individual instruction and positive coaching. This camp is ideal for first-time wrestlers or younger athletes looking to strengthen their fundamentals before the season.
2026 Summer Wrestling Camp Information – Advanced (5-12th)
Southwest Wrestling Academy's Advanced Summer Wrestling Camp is geared toward wrestlers in 5th through 12th grade with at least one year of wrestling experience. Please speak with Coach Owen if you are uncertain if this camp will be appropriate for your wrestler. This camp is designed for experienced athletes who want to elevate their skills, sharpen technique, and gain a competitive edge.
Instruction focuses on advanced takedown setups, chain wrestling, top and bottom control, live situational wrestling, and match strategy. Athletes will receive high-level coaching from experienced clinicians, including college wrestlers and national-level competitors. This camp is ideal for wrestlers preparing for middle school, high school, or tournament competition who are serious about improving their performance.
2026 Advanced Schedule
Our full-day summer camp features 5 hours of wrestling training each day. That's over 50 hours of wrestling for both weeks! This includes 2.5 hours of fast-paced technical instruction with situational live practice, and 1.5 hours of guided live wrestling each day. That is 15 hours of live wrestling and 25 hours of technical instruction and situational wrestling during the camp. This hands-on approach gives each wrestler plenty of time to drill techniques under resistance, practice them in real match situations, and lock the moves into your mind, so they come naturally when it counts on the mat. We also include a Monday and Thursday evening practice from 6:15 - 8:00 p.m. for each week.

2026 Summer Wrestling Camp Sign-Up
Sign up now to reserve your spot! We do expect a big turnout this year and will close out registration once capacity is met! Please contact Coach with any questions before signing up. If unsure of the appropriate camp, contact coach.
Kids will need to bring water bottles and food/snacks. Chandler High School does offer free lunches Monday-Friday during this time. Coaches will walk the kids over to pickup a lunch if they choose. Wrestling shoes are recommended. Athletic clothing required.
